Day 1: Arrival at Entebbe and Transfer to Kampala
Welcome to Uganda the Pearl of Africa. Your guide will receive you and transfer you to your hotel in either Kampala or Entebbe where you will freshen up from the long flight and prepare for your safari around Uganda. If you arrive early, we recommend that you take a brief city tour visiting the Independence Monument commemorating Uganda’s independence from British colonialists on 9th October 1962.

Day 2: Transfer to Murchison Falls National Park
After breakfast, depart Kampala city with your guide taking you to Murchison Falls National Park which is the largest conservation area in Uganda. You will have several stops along this 5 hours journey where you will visit Ziwa Rhino Sanctuary in Masindi; home to about 20 white rhinos. Here, you will take a guided rhino tracking on foot with a ranger before having lunch. After lunch, proceed into the park but before checking-in at your lodge, hike to the top of Murchison Falls for great scenic views of the Nile River. Dinner and overnight.

Day 3: Game Drive and Boat Cruise – Murchison Falls National Park
Wake up at 6:30 am for a cup of coffee then start an early morning game drive with a ranger guide through various tracks within Murchison falls national park where you may see herds of elephants, buffalos, Ugandan kobs,Lions,Giraffes,Hynas,topis among others while during this uganda safari . Return back to lodge for full breakfast after such an experience before going for afternoon activity.
After lunch,you head Paara for a 3 hour boat cruise on the River Nile; the longest river in the world with highest concentration of hippos and Nile crocodiles plus variety of birds like giant kingfishers, fish eagles among others.

Day 4: Transfer to Kibale Forest National Park
Travel from Murchison Falls to Kibale Forest National Park; primate capital of the world and home to 13 species of primates including chimpanzees. You will have lunch in Fort Portal town which is approximately 6-7 hours’ drive via scenic Rift Valley landscapes during this 12 days Uganda safari Tour. Proceed for dinner and overnight at your lodge after checking-in.

Day 5: Chimpanzee tracking and Bigodi swamp walk
After breakfast, you will be briefed about chimps and their natural habitat as you prepare for the chimp tracking that starts at 7:30am . At exactly 8 am , start hiking behind guides for a period of about 2-5 hours depending on where these chimps will be located while during this safari in Uganda. Other primates that may be seen include grey cheeked mangabeys, red tailed monkeys among others.
Return back to lodge for lunch. Later in the afternoon go for nature walk in Bigodi Wetland Sanctuary; an eco-tourism site managed by local people .Their conservation story gives you a taste how people live together with nature while on this nature walk spot birds and other primates during this uganda safari . Day 6: Transfer to Queen Elizabeth National Park
After breakfast, you will be transferred to Queen Elizabeth National Park and will reach there in time for an afternoon boat cruise on Kazinga Channel, having over 5,000 hippos. Day 7: Game drive and transfer to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park
Have a coffee at half past six in the morning and go on a game drive with a ranger who will help you see big land animals like elephants, buffalos, lions and antelopes such as Uganda kob and topi among others during your safari in Uganda. Return to the lodge for full breakfast. After breakfast, you will have another game drive while heading to Bwindi Impenetrable Forest National Park which is also a UNESCO World Heritage Site and you may stopover at Ishasha wilderness to spot tree climbing lions if you are lucky enough.
Bwindi is well known as the home of half of the world’s mountain gorillas thus making it one of the best gorilla tracking areas in Africa. It got its name from Lukiga word “Mubwindi” meaning “a dark place” due to its dense rainforest that has remained untouched since the last ice age over 25000 thousand years ago. Day 8: Gorilla trekking and village walk
After breakfast, head to the park center for briefing about gorilla rules. The trek to find gorillas can be tough so it’s advisable that you hire one or two porters who can help in carrying your bag pack during this uganda safari After finding them depending on where they were last seen expect an hour with them taking photographs . Day 9: Golden Monkey Tracking and Transfer to Lake Bunyonyi
After breakfast , you will transfer to Mgahinga Gorilla National Park reaching in time for briefing and later start golden monkey trekking which starts at 8 am with hiking up to the bamboo forest at 3 ,000 meters altitude where we hope to find golden monkeys in the bamboo which are critically endangered primates here in uganda safari After trekking you will transfer to Lake Bunyonyi arriving in time for lunch thereafter dinner and overnight .

Day 10: Transfer To Lake Mburo National Park and Afternoon Game Drive
After breakfast your driver guide will drive you heading to Lake Mburo National park arriving in time for lunch then have an afternoon game drive . Day 11: Morning Walking Safari and Transfer to Entebbe
A Uganda Wildlife Authority ranger guide will meet you after breakfast. They will brief you and then take you for a game walk on this uganda safari. This is an activity for those who want to stretch their legs and view wildlife on foot during their Uganda Safaris. Currently, it is only in Lake Mburo where one can do a safari on foot. You will have an opportunity to see what you could have seen on any game drive but this time round; do it by walking. Check out of the lodge and drive back to Kampala with lunch served en route.
